Easy Quinoa Salad Recipes

Who doesn't want easy quinoa salad recipes? They're probably the easiest to make if not the healthiest. There are tons of salads you can come up with using quinoa and one of the yummiest I've ever tried is the Greek quinoa salad recipe. You need uncooked quinoa, water or broth (vegetable or meat), apple cider vinegar, lemon, garlic, onion, olive oil, parsley, cilantro, cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, feta cheese, salt and pepper to taste. I love feta cheese so I'm also crazy about this concoction. You can search the recipe online for complete details and steps.

Another easy quinoa salad recipe is the vegan quinoa. Preparation time is only 10 minutes and you'll get done cooking it in as little as 15 minutes. You need raw whole grain quinoa, vegetable broth, cucumber, bell pepper, steamed broccoli, tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and dash of salt and pepper to taste.
Others prefer sea salt than iodized salt. This recipe is tasty and very healthy. It doesn't take too much time to cook because whole grain quinoa cooks faster than most grains. You get about 11 grams of protein per cup of cooked quinoa. Feel free to add your favorite vegetables in this recipe.

The third easy quinoa recipe is the quinoa salad with pecans and fresh herbs. Why do I love it? Well because pecans go really well with quinoa, I always like the nutty crunchy taste of both quinoa and pecans. To prepare this dish, you need cooked quinoa, pecans, fresh mint, parsley, green onions, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Combine the quinoa, nuts, parsley and mint in a large bowl and then on a separate bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients. Pour the dressing over the quinoa mixture and chill for 15 minutes. Make sure you toss the salad again before serving.
