Creating The Best Great Steak.

By Morgan Lee

Eating a great steak is some people's heaven. Lots of these are available and are sold in many cuts. This means that 10 people could have 10 different types and want them cooked in different ways and served with different accompaniments. The individual choice helps to make it perfect but there are a few rules to help the person.

Most people will steer away from buying packaged meat as it may not be as good as going to the butchers counter or to a specialist. The best cuts are prime, choice, select, in that order and people should buy the best they can afford. This is a good start to a fantastic meal.

The meat is purchased then it is taken back to the house to be prepared and then finally cooked and then eaten. There are many ways to cook this and each person will have their favourite. They may have to try a few ways before they settle on what taste they are looking for.

The most popular ways in which to cook the piece of meat would be through either frying, roasting or grilling. If the person doesn't have a favourite then anyone would be good to start with. When using an oven or frying then it is important that the oven and the range is heated up before any cooking takes place.

You need to know what is the way you take your meat as the way their cooked does have an affect on the way it tastes. Some will like it blue which means that the meat is just off raw. This is not for everyone and other ways of cooking could be rare, medium rare or well done. It is up to the individual.

Once the manner of the cooking is decided then it is time to start. Chefs will tell you that it's best not to keep turning the meat and try to keep it to just once. Also do not stab the meat as the juices with escape. This could affect the taste so steer clear of messing about too much.

When the person's great steak is ready then it's just a matter of leaving it for a few minutes for all the flavour to settle. Then it can be served with anything the person requires. This could include vegetables or rice. Mixed with this a nice drink then there is no reason why the meal shouldn't be perfect.
